Hachette Book Group | Office Renovation
Our design to update the workplace for Hachette to support their efforts of coming back to work after the pandemic, coincided with their drastic growth as they planned to collocate a new publishing group. Adopting a shared desk strategy, to both accommodate a hybrid work model and absorb headcount growth, and a mindful yet assertive approach to identifying spaces throughout their office which were underutilized or no longer functional, the team focused in reimagining this connective tissue to redefine the existing workplace, creating a new integrated environment where wellness and people are at the forefront. New natural textures and bright colors, exceptionally lit accent green walls, and comfortable furniture, brought needed support for open area collaboration as well as enhanced the experience at the desk, leveraging the introduction of private and semi-private spaces as opportunity for branding and identity expression of this ever-growing publishing company and its multiple imprints.
